Odyssey's Jacks or Better Playoff is a banking video poker variant. The machine accumulates a bonus pot over time — when the pot is high enough, qualifying hands trigger the playoff feature for an additional payout.
The pot value is the entire edge. Only advantageous when the bonus pot contains 145+ credits.
Below that threshold, the game plays at standard video poker odds with no mathematical edge.
